Healthy Snacks (Part 1)

Originally, I was just going to make kind of like an “ultimate” healthy snack list. I’ve been finding so many, however, that I decided to break it up. This makes things easier for me, since it’ll give me more blog posts and I can go more in depth about the products/brands. This way the posts aren’t extremely long either. I have four that I will be sharing with you all today. I will also have links to their websites. You should definitely go check out their products!

SmartSweets- SmartSweets are an interesting and healthier twist on candy. They have Sour Blast Buddies, Fruity Gummy Bears, Sweet Chews, Peach Rings, Sweet Fish, and Sour Gummy Bears. They just introduced a new flavor as well: Sourmelon Bites. I’ve tried all but the Sweet Fish and the Sourmelon Bites. I really like the Sweet Chews and Peach Rings but I can’t wait to get to try the Sourmelon Bites. A lot of their candies are plant based and they are all low in calories. There’s also only about three grams of sugar per bag. Plus there’s a ton of fiber! If you’d like to try these candies out, you can find them on their website https://smartsweets.com/ (there are several store locations that they can tell you about on their website too). They do have a little higher price point, but they are totally worth it. Plus they do send discounts when you sign up for their emails.

Kind Snacks- Where do I even begin with these? They are amazing and have so many different flavors, textures, and more. From products ranging from snack bars to breakfast bars to oatmeal to granola and more, Kind has so many choices for you to choose from. They have harder snack bars but they do also have softer ones. They even have mini bars and bars for kids. They have even recently released an energy bar. Kind Snacks are some of my go to snack bars. Definitely worth buying! They can also be found in most stores as well as their website: https://www.kindsnacks.com/ You can also get discounts just for signing up for their emails.

Rhythm Superfoods- Rhythm Superfoods are all about, you guessed it, superfoods. They take everyday fruits and vegetables and turn them into flavorful, easy to enjoy snacks. They have so many flavor options and fruit and vegetable choices. From beets to carrots to cauliflower to mango and more they have a bit of everything. I was gifted the Cauliflower Bites in the flavors white cheddar, buffalo ranch, and sea salt for review. I’m honestly not the biggest fan of cauliflower, and these do taste like cauliflower since that’s what they are. I wasn’t in love with this snack, but I did really like the texture of the cauliflower. It was crispy and I almost felt like it could have been a chip. My mom and dad fell in love with these snacks and already want more. They have others that I would love to try like their carrot sticks, kale chips and watermelon slices. While they don’t sell on their website, it does have tons of useful information as well as locations near you. Check them out here: https://rhythmsuperfoods.com/ and thank you so much Rhythm Superfoods for letting me try these!

Biena Snacks- Biena Snacks are very good! They are all made out of chickpeas and they even have chickpea puffs. There are so many flavors you can choose from too. My favorites were the barbeque and honey roasted chickpea snacks. They are so full of flavor that you don’t even really notice that you are eating chickpeas. The texture is a bit different, but still quite enjoyable. I wasn’t as crazy about the chickpea puffs, but they were pretty good too. These were sent to me for free for review but I honestly love these and will definitely be purchasing them in the future. Go visit their website and even purchase something if you like: https://bienasnacks.com/ Again, thank you Biena for sending me some products to try out!

Thank you all for reading! Hope you enjoyed these few healthy snacks. Subscribe to stay up to date on future healthy snack reviews and more. If you are a company and would like to send me snacks to review, email me at alittlebiteoflife@yahoo.com. I also just created a tip jar on my homepage if you would like to help keep this blog running. You totally don’t have to though! Thank you in advance. Until next time!

Hi Kristy. Very interesting. I’ve tried various vegetable crisps/chips before and thought that they were ok – I wouldn’t rave about them but they weren’t dreadful either. Never tried cauliflower ones though – they might be a challenge! Thanks for the review.
