ASMR or Autonomous sensory meridian response is something most of you have heard of at least once. It gained popularity a few years ago and now you can find it everywhere. So what is ASMR? ASMR is a feeling of well-being combined with a tingling sensation in the scalp and down the back of the neck, as experienced by some people in response to a specific gentle stimulus, often a particular sound. Sounds pretty weird, but I do find it very relaxing. I’ve only had tingles once, but that is okay. Not everyone gets them.
I discovered ASMR late last year. I was stressed out from losing my job so I decided to take a look at what it was. I fell in love. It relaxes me so much and now I can hardly sleep without watching any. ASMR varies from person to person. Some love fast tapping, some love slower tapping, while some like alternating tapping. While ASMR does contain a lot of tapping, there is so much other things that different artists do. There’s role-plays with spas, facials, make up, and so many that are just for either men or women. There are unboxings, clothes try-ons, “trigger” objects, and so much more.
With the way the world is now, relaxation and stress relief is just what we need. Something to get our mind off all our troubles. If you’re new to ASMR, just try it. You may find something that you. I’ll leave links down below for my favorite ASMRtists. Hope you enjoy their channels!

Oceans ASMR: This is probably one of the sweetest girls you could watch. She does a lot of friend role plays that are just amazing. She also plays the mean girl great too. She is very environmentally friendly and talks about how to take care of the planet and be more eco-friendly. She is very into cruelty free makeup which I love. BoyfriendAudio: If you’re more into just listening to someone’s voice, this channel would be perfect. Your “boyfriend” talks to you about different things. There are so many others I could list, but I will stop with these. There are so many ASMR channels out there. The choices you have are outstanding. Give ASMR a try at least once.
