My March Reads

Since being stuck at home for so long, I’ve managed to get quite a few books read this month. Out of ten books and twelve manga, I only had one book I really couldn’t finish and didn’t like.

First I started with Cowboy To The Core by Maisey Yates. This was such a good book! I love her whole series and this was no exception. Filled with cowboys and a great love story, this was a great read to begin with.

Next I read America’s Scariest Places by Centennial Magazine. I like reading about spooky places and this was perfect. Its not real scary, but it is very informative.

Then I read Uninvited and Unleashed by Sophie Jordan. I had read these books back in High School and was not disappointed reading them again. It is very easy to get lost in this short series.

I wanted another romance after that, so I read Thrill me by Susan Mallery. This is a super short story about mistakes and regrets than ultimately lead to love again.

Then it was an anthology More Than Words: Stories of Strength by Carla Neggers, Susan Mallery, and Karen Harper. All three stories are based off real non-profits around the world and really tug at the heart strings.

I wanted something a little more carefree next and read Save The Date by Morgan Matson. She is a great writer and really takes you on an emotional journey in this book. Such a good read.

Next was Her Wedding Wish by Jillian Hart. This is a Love Inspired book and is just filled by love. I cried so much throughout this book but was not disappointed in the slightest.

After trying to read Muffin But Murder by Victoria Hamilton, the book I could not get into unfortunately, I read Hitting The Books by Jenn McKinlay. After just the first chapter, I was addicted. I finished this book so fast and really want to order more of the books in her series. Although this was a book way later in the series, I really didn’t feel like I missed a whole bunch by not having the others in her series.

Finally I finished out the month with the manga series Fruits Basket by Natsuki Takaya. I read to Vol. 12 but I will be finishing the whole series by the end of the day I’m sure. I have read this series so many times and yet it still makes me smile like an idiot every time I read it.

Those are all my reads for March. Hope this gives you some ideas of books to try! Although I didn’t like the one book, doesn’t mean you won’t. Everyone has different tastes. It just wasn’t my cup of tea. Have a great day. Until next time.
