My 2021 Goals

This year I didn’t want to do New Year’s resolutions. I never seem to keep them, at least not for long enough. I wanted to make a list of goals that I want to do for 2021 instead. This way I can see what I all got accomplished by the end of the year. If you’re trying to figure out some goals for yourself, hope this gives you ideas. I like seeing goals people set for themselves, so if you’re here for that, enjoy!

  • Get more into gardening- I do have some plants, but I’d love to have more. I finally got to where I can grow things without killing them so I’d love to have some more color around my house.
  • Clean up my yard- This goes in hand with the first goal. My yard has a lot of weeds unfortunately, and I’ve been trying to clean it up but I haven’t finished yet. I also need to start taking care of what grass I have and water it.
  • Scrapbook more- I love scrap booking, but I don’t really make time for it anymore. I have so much paper and stickers I’d love to use. I just really need to get a lot of pictures printed out.
  • Watch more movies- I watch a lot of YouTube instead of watching the dvds that I have. I have so many that I have never watched and I really need to remedy that this year.
  • Do more crafts- I’m a very crafty person, although it certainly hasn’t seemed like it lately. I’m hoping to change that this year. I have so many I’ve found on Pinterest that I’d love to try.
  • Less screen time- I’m on my laptop, TV, and phone a lot. I really need to take a break sometimes, although I don’t. I’m really planning on staying off more, even though I do use it for my blogging of course.
  • Shop from small businesses- This is something I wanted to do in 2020, but didn’t have the funds for much. I’m hoping this year is different, because I’d love to support businesses that I really admire.
  • Do more skincare- I really got into skincare last year, and really want to keep up with it. I feel less stressed when I keep up with it and my skin looks and feels better.
  • Write content for my blog in advance- This is something I really need to do. When I’m working, I really don’t have time to write a blog post so I end up rushing it. I want to have some in advance so I don’t have to worry about it.
  • Try new things- There’s been a lot of things I’ve been wanting to try, I just never have. I really want to do those things this year and step out of my comfort zone.
  • Read more- I always want to read more. I have so many books that I’d love to get through and I really want to try to get at least a hundred read this year. Here’s hoping I can do it!
  • Pay off my car- I’m so close to paying off my car, and I plan on having it done this year. I’d love to take care of that bill, so its one less for me to worry about.
  • Be more organized- I’m not a very organized person. I’d love to at least change it some this year. I’d love to have my life in a bit more order.
  • Write more- I started off 2020 actually writing quite a bit on my book, but then quickly pretty much stopped altogether. I want to get it done this year.
  • Get healthy- I went from working out and eating better to pretty much abandoning it. I definitely need to get back to that. I also want to take care of my mental health more. I put a lot of stress on myself, and I really need to fix that.
  • Make money on my blog- I have made a little bit of money, but I can’t cash out for a good while however. I’m always looking to try to get more traffic to my website, and I’ll continue to work on it.
  • More subscribers- I’d love to get more email subscribers as well. It makes me feel good knowing people want to keep reading my blog. I did loose a few this year, and I’d really love to hit 20 subscribers at least.
  • Save up money: There are quite a few things I’d love to save up for. I’d love to buy a new phone this year. Mine is a Samsung Galaxy S7 if that says how old it is. The battery is slowly dying and it has a lot of problems. I’d also love to get a new roof for my library. My library is an old office building and the roof leaks. I lost a few books because of it and I want to get it fixed before I lose any more. Lastly, I want to start saving up for a bathtub/shower combo. I’d love to take a bubble bath, but I only have a shower so that isn’t possible quite yet.

There is all my 2021 goals! I have a lot that I hope to accomplish this year, but if I don’t get everything completed, its okay. I’d love to get at least half of this list finished. Hope you enjoyed reading this! Until next time.
