Healthy Snacks #6

It’s been a while since I’ve done a healthy snack post. A while back, Crazy Richard’s sent me over some peanut butter to test out and review. Crazy Richard’s peanut butter is all natural with no added ingredients. Plus it is Women Owned and made in the USA. The great part is, Walmart even carries their peanut butter. I’ve used it in several recipes, so I decided to make this post all about nut butter and ways to use it. Let’s get into the snacks!

Apple Cookies

I loved making these. They’re very quick and simple, but taste great. Start out by slicing your apple fairly thin, so you have round apple slices. Cut out the core. Cover your apple slice with nut butter before topping it with whatever you like. I used mini chocolate chips, but you could always use nuts, coconut, or anything really.

Fruit Dip

There are so many recipes that use nut butter in fruit dips. I’ve tried several ones, and this peanut butter was great in all of them. It tastes great with fruit and makes a great, refreshing snack.

Toast

Peanut butter is great on toast, and it is a super quick snack. A lot of breads have whole grains, so find a healthier version and spread some nut butter on it.

Energy Bites

I love these for an after workout snack. They have all that you need to give you energy after a long day. They’re easy to make and Pinterest has tons of recipes floating around. They hold up very well in the fridge and taste great.

There are so many other snacks you can make with peanut butter. Use your imagination and create something new, or try this peanut butter as a replacement for the one you already have. Thank you so much to Crazy Richard’s Peanut Butter CO for sending me over these amazing peanut butters! Let me know if there’s a snack you like making with any nut butters. Happy snacking! Until next time.
