Disney Date Night: Princess and the Frog Edition

As you may know, I love Disney movies. For Princess and the Frog, I ended up watching it with my parents and having a “date night” with them. I loved the foods for this movie and it was such a fun night.

The Food:

We made Lafayette pancakes, bacon, beignets, and had orange juice. The Princess and the Frog has so many food options, these are just the ones that I chose to make.

Activities:

  • Wear green: Tiana is a frog for most of the movie, so green is a great color to wear. She does have a few outfits that you could inspire an outfit from as well. Just put your hair up and wear something comfy.
  • Face Mask: I chose a mud mask, since they are in the swamp. Any face mask will do though. Tiana doesn’t relax in the movie, but that doesn’t mean we can’t!
  • Watch a Mardi Gras Parade: This movie takes place during Mardi Gras so I thought it would be fun to see a real life parade. I’ll link one here: Celebrating Mardi Gras in New Orleans | National Geographic – YouTube
  • Put up some twinkle lights: The lights can represent the fireflies in the movie or even the stars. Plus it sets a sweet atmosphere.

These Disney date nights are great for anybody, whether you’re by yourself or with a family. Hope you enjoyed this! I do have several other posts like these, so I’ll link them down below if you’re interested. Thanks for reading! Until next time.
