Boxing

Something most people don’t know about me is that I love boxing. I bought myself a punching bag a couple of years ago and fell in love. Any time I have time for a workout and the weather is nice, that is what I do. Its a great full body workout, plus it has many health benefits as well.

I used to watch wrestling all the time, but liked boxing more. There’s just something about the agility they have to have, plus the amount of hits they take yet keep standing is something amazing. Boxing isn’t all about beating each other up. It’s would also good for defense if you were ever attacked. Boxing helps keep you lean, fast, and muscled. Something that would help with survival if you were ever pushed.

I know I don’t have the greatest form that boxers have and I don’t know all the punches yet. I’m still learning and I’ll continue to learn. I’ve thought about doing a “training like a MMA fighter for a week”. If that’s something you’d like to see my take on, please let me know. That would be a challenge for me, but I do like a good challenge. Make sure to challenge yourself sometimes. You are capable of doing whatever you set your mind to, it just takes hard work and dedication. Try something new. Take a group class. Make a complicated meal. Do something that you’ve never even thought about doing. Push out of your comfort zone. I believe in you.
