April Reads

The month of April was filled with so many great reads. There were so many I loved, and I can’t wait to see what I get to read in May. I read thirteen books and ten manga. Hope you enjoy!

I started the month off with How To Be Bad by E. Lockhart, Lauren Myracle, and Sarah Mynowski. At first I wasn’t too sure about this book, but I ended up loving it. The story centers around three teenagers and a road trip.

I read Volume 1-10 of Wild Ones by Kiyo Fujiwara next. This was a super cute manga that was filled with unexpected twists.

I wanted fantasy next, so Desperately Seeking Shapeshifter by Jessica Sims was a great choice. The story was very well written and I read through it so fast.

Then I went for Spooky Southwest: Tales of Hauntings, Strange Happenings, and Other Local Lore- retold by S.E. Schlosser. This was recommended by my aunt and I really enjoyed all the short stories in it.

The Sparkling One by Susan Mallery came next. This was such a cute love story.

Next I read Dead After Dark by Sherrilyn Kenyon, J.R. Ward, Susan Squires, and Dianna Love. This was a great fantasy read. I enjoyed all four short stories.

Maisey Yates’ Claim Me, Cowboy followed. I read this book in one sitting because it was just that good. She is an amazing writer and I have liked so many of her books.

I wanted more creepy, so I followed it with The A to Z Encyclopedia of Serial Killers by Harold Schechter and David Everitt. This was a very interesting book, but not for someone who gets queasy very easily.

I ready Her Unlikely Cowboy by Debra Clopton next. This is a Love Inspired book, and it was so good.

Sweet Tomorrows by Debbie Macomber was after that one. This was a great book filled with tons of feelings. My mom had recommended this one and I wasn’t disappointed. It is the last in the series, which I didn’t know, but I didn’t feel like I missed out by not reading the previous books.

Next was A First Date With Death by Diana Orgain. I loved this book so much. There was humor, mystery, and romance. The ending was even perfect to me.

I chose Bad Boys To Go by Lori Foster, Janelle Denison, and Nancy Warren. This wasn’t my favorite, but it was still a good read.

Hometown Princess by Lenora Worth was towards the end of the month. This was also a Love Inspired book. It was very easy to read, but I didn’t like the ending all that much.

I finished out the month with Magic Gone Wild by Judi Fennell. This book hooked me from the very first page and never let go. I love this read so much. This was probably my favorite for the month.

Hope you all enjoyed this and maybe even found some new books to put on you TBR list. Thank you all for reading. Until next time.
