Webtoon is a website or an app that you can access digital comics. There a tons of different genres so there’s a little something for everyone. I got into Webtoons a few years ago. I love manga and anime, and Webtoons are no different. I thought I’d share some of my favorites. I’ll leave the website link down towards the end. The app should be able to be downloaded on both android and iphone.
The Witch and The Bull by Moonsia- This is a fantasy webtoon and the drawings are incredible. The artist really brings to life the world she’s creating as well as the characters. The story line is amazing too. This is an ongoing comic, but definitely worth waiting for uploads.
Devil Number 4 by jangjin/woombeee- This is such a great fiction webtoon. I fell in love with the characters by the first page and continue to do so. There is a lot going on so it keeps you interested. The love story is perfect too.
True Beauty by Yaongyi- I LOVE THIS WEBTOON. This is one of my favorites that I read. I get super excited when I get the notification that it uploaded. It is a romance and the artist does it right.
Age Matters by Enjelicious- This is also a super cute webtoon. I love the main characters. The plot is great too. I can really relate to the main characters and I love that.
The Girl Downstairs by Songah Min- This is a newer webtoon that I started reading and I quite like it. It has a great story line and it keeps you guessing at the character’s past.
I Wish I Were You by beta1042- This is a cute webtoon. It is set in high school so it does have some of the drama like that, but it isn’t too much.
The Wolfman of Wulvershire by K. Oliver- This is a pretty dark fantasy webtoon. It can be quite creepy at times and there is a bit of gore. The story is amazing though. I have several weeks of catching up to do and I can’t wait.
My Deepest Secret by Hanza Art- This is a pretty deep, dark romance. I had been reading it quite a bit but then just stopped for a bit. I do plan on continuing, I just haven’t had time. It was definitely worth mentioning though.
Let’s Play by Mongie- This is another one of my favorites. I often use Fast Pass (have to pay to use this) to read ahead because I usually can’t wait for the next upload. Super cute romance filled with some darker elements that the artist writes very well.
Ghost Theater by LICO- This is a great fantasy to read. It has a lot of ghosts and ever sadder stories in it. I’ve cried more times that I can count. Great read.
How To Become A Dragon by eon- This is a cute, funny fantasy webtoon. The characters a very easy to love and the story is interesting too.
Miss Abbott and the Doctor by Maripaz Villar- This is the webtoon that got me interested in them. I still read it to this day. The artist continues to put out uploads, and I continue to read them without ever feeling bored.
Choco Latte by Ann- This is super cute. If you don’t like having to read the words and just want to concentrate on the images, this is the one for you. There are very few words, but the artist gets the thoughts and emotions done amazingly. You never get confused at how the characters are feeling.
Kiss Me Undead by Noroi Nikki- This is a cute fantasy filled with some darker elements. The pages are pretty short but still good. They don’t upload a whole lot, but I always get excited when they do.
I Hate that I Love You by Aericchi- This is another great romance set in high school. This webtoon is completely finished if you are looking for one that isn’t still going.
Boo! It’s Sex by Danielle Corsetto/ Monica Gallagher- This is a funny but very informational webtoon. You learn so much about, you guessed it, sex. Definitely not for everyone, but I did enjoy it.
Your Letter by Hyeon A Cho- This is a super short, but finished webtoon. I really enjoyed it and even wished it would have gone on a bit longer. It ended great though.
