Spring Rambles

Enjoy this short post filled with my rambles! I had an entirely different post planned, but work and the mail got in the way. It will be posted Tuesday though.

Spring is one of my favorite seasons. I love seeing nature coming out in all kinds of ways. Flowers bloom, releasing their fragrant scents out into the world. The land bursts out in beautiful colors. Animals start having their babies, bringing new life out into the world. That’s what Spring is to me, a time for new beginnings. A time for everything to be new.
A Midsummer Night’s Dream is my favorite book by William Shakespeare and its because of the way it makes me feel. It is so whimsical and carefree, even though it is filled with drama. Love happens throughout the story and honestly makes me think of Spring. Most of the story happens within the woods and I can’t help but think of the lush grass sprinkled with pops of color. A group of fairies are in the story and they seem to fit right along with everything I imagine. Shakespeare was an amazing story teller and this one definitely doesn’t get the credit it deserves.
Typically in Spring, we start planting our gardens. We’re running a bit late this year, but I’m hoping we still get to have one. The oak trees are in bloom and one of our cows just had a baby. Our first for this year. I bought a few succulents and love them so much. I want to buy so many more, but figured I should stop with what I have for now.
I know this post is quite a bit different than my usual stuff, but I hope you enjoyed it. Thank you so much for reading! Until next time.
