Last Friday I did a post about sad romance movies. Pretty much all of them would make someone cry. Full of heartbreak and lost love. Today, I thought I’d share some of my favorite cute romance movies. Some of these are romcoms, but most are just heartwarming, make you believe in love movies. Again, these won’t be in any particular order. Enjoy!
- After- This is a movie based on the book by Anna Todd. It is set in college and so good. The ending isn’t the best, but it is happy. Its the kind of movie that reminds you of first love.
- Valentine’s Day- How could I not put this movie on here? It’s perfect and I watch it every year on Valentine’s Day.
- The Proposal-This movie is so funny! Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds are such great actors. A great movie about falling in love with someone you never though you would. Plus there is an adorable puppy!
- The Duff- A high school set movie that all ages will love. Its cute, funny, and oh so relatable. The main character is so funny.
- Everything, Everything- This was a cute movie with a crazy plot twist. Its a tale of forbidden love in a way. Its been a while since I’ve seen it, but there may be a moment where you’ll tear up.
- When In Rome- This movie is pure comedy with romance thrown in. All the characters are great and just make the movie awesome.
- Catch and Release-This movie may not be great to a lot of people, but I really liked it. It has touches of sadness, but also many surprises and a chance at love again.
- The Song- This could be classified as a christian movie, but unless you know the story of the Song of Soloman, it certainly doesn’t seem like it. There is a great storyline, amazing music, and the actors/actresses bring it. I wasn’t sure how this movie would be when I first bought it, but I am so glad I did. The love story is great and has a lot of forgiveness in the film.
- The Princess Bride- A classic love story that never fails to amaze me. I love this movie.
- Dirty Dancing- I’m sure most everyone has heard the phrase, “Nobody puts baby in the corner.” This is the time to hear it for yourself. An older movie with the late Patrick Swayze, it is a great film. Not your typical romance, but another classic none the less.
- The Wedding Date- This movie is a bit predictable, but they do throw in some surprises. The cast works together well and the main characters have great chemistry.
- 27 Dresses- This is the type of movie for someone who never thought they’d find love. The main character has been in 27 weddings, but never had her own. The guy she falls in love with is cynical and goofy but they work perfectly together.
- Sweet Home Alabama- I love this movie. Reece Witherspoon is a great actress and this is probably one of my favorites of hers. Her movie family is the perfect amount of “southern” and just awesome.
- Letters To Juliet- This is such a cute movie. Amanda Seyfried is the star and after writing a letter back to a lady, goes on a quest to reunite true love. She even finds it for herself.
- To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before- Unfortunately, you can only watch this movie on Netflix. If you do have Netflix, this is a great movie. Set in High School, it has a very sweet love story.
- The Ugly Truth- If you don’t like dirty talk or cussing, you won’t like this movie. It is such a funny movie with a crazy romance factor. Plus Gerard Butler and Cathering Heigl are great together.
- He’s Just Not That Into You- I know this doesn’t sound like a romance movie, but it is. This movie follows several couples and how their lives intertwine with the other characters in it. There is some heartbreak, but the relationships are amazing.
- Any Hallmark movie-So far, I have never seen a bad Hallmark movie. All the movies are so good and heartwarming. These are the ones I recommend:
- Love, Romance, and Chocolate
- Love On Safari
- The Lost Valentine
- Valentine Ever After
- Moonlight In Vermont
- Love and Sunshine
- Love At First Bark
- Love At First Glance
- All Of My Heart collection
