I didn’t get as many books read as I would have liked. I did get a manga series finished and got a few other books done. I had a lot of great books that I read.
Faking The Fall by Julie Christianson
What’s a movie star to do when giving up the spotlight could hurt the ones he loves most? My agent has this idea—an insanely bad idea—to reboot my Hollywood heartthrob status by having my long-lost love dump me … while I’m proposing to her on national TV. The theory? Women everywhere will swoon over poor Lincoln James, scrambling to repair his vulnerable, shattered heart. Trouble is, I don’t have any kind of love—long, lost, or otherwise. To play my fake girlfriend, my agent enlists Hadley Morgan, my secret college crush. The one who dragged me to an audition that launched my career but left her in the dust. Upping the ante, she offers Hadley a slot on the show she missed out on years ago. When the alternative publicity ploy is for reporters to dig up dirt on my family, I’ve got no choice but to go along with the ruse. That’s why I’m in Harvest Hollow now—as one half of the dream couple HadLink—at least until Hadley explodes our relationship during a very public proposal. Our breakup’s built into this deal. Too bad I’ve got real love for this woman. But if I come clean, I risk Hadley’s big break, my family’s painful past, and my own rebooted heart …
I enjoyed this. It was super sweet and cute.
A Witchy Situation by Bella Pursell
Nova Foster and Ezra Woodhaven have been best friends their entire lives. As outcasts in a world where all witches and wizards have a unique power, a lifetime of friendship and reliance on each other forged an unbreakable bond. They have no secrets…except for one. As Halloween approaches, the weekend’s festivities and a meddling mother force them to face long-denied feelings. But when enemies from the past resurface, threatening not only Hidden Creek but also to expose a Foster family secret, Nova and Ezra find themselves in the middle of the chaos. Facing their fears might be tougher than they expected, but will they allow those fears to consume them and threaten everyone’s future? Or will they discover things that even they didn’t know about themselves?
This was so warm and cozy. I wish it was longer though because I enjoyed the magic aspect and wished it went into it more.
Wolves and Water-Colors by Aly Hollis
Aurora needs a break! Her career as a painter in Los Angeles is going nowhere and she’s seriously burned out. The solution? Visiting her sister in a remote mountain town and getting inspired by the beautiful landscape. Cedar has always preferred plants over people, but when Aurora shows up in his garden, everything changes. She’s full of life and passion, and he can’t seem to resist her – even though she’s human and therefore off limits. Weird things keep happening around Aurora, and they need to figure out what’s going on before she gets hurt or discovers the truth about her sister and the pack.
I really enjoyed this! I’m so happy Cedar finally got his happily ever after. I loved the family vibes and how cozy this book was.
One Night Only by Lucy Score
**Could not find a synopsis. This was a free novella that I downloaded quite a bit ago.**
This was so good and I could not put it down!
The Demon Prince of Momochi House Vol. 6-16 by Aya Shouoto
Himari Momochi inherits Momochi House, an estate which exists on the barrier between the human and spiritual realms.
I could not stop reading this series. So good and I cried quite a few times. This was such a comfort and it ended great.

Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice by Katie Cicatelli-Kuc
Fall is a big deal in Briar Glen, a quaint and charming village in New England. That’s when tourists from all over the country descend upon this picturesque town to see the babbling brooks and colorful leaves while sipping hot chocolate or pumpkin spice lattes. But sixteen-year-old Lucy Kane hates the uber-popular PSL. She finds it overrated — especially when you consider the fact that there isn’t even pumpkin in it! — which is bad because she works at Cup o’ Jo, the local coffee shop her mom owns. Business at Cup o’ Jo hasn’t been great in the off-season, but that’s okay because it always picks up during the fall … Until Java Junction, a multinational coffee chain, opens across the street and makes things harder for the small shop. And to make matters worse, it turns out Jack Harper, the new kid in school and Lucy’s secret crush, is the son of the owner. Suddenly, fall doesn’t seem like it’ll be all it’s cracked up to be. Will Lucy find a way to save her mom’s coffee shop?
This was okay. Not much romance and I didn’t like the main character all that much. I enjoyed the small town vibes, the baking, and the coffee shop though.
Those are all the books I read this month! Hope you enjoyed! Until next time.
