My Trip To Kerrville, Texas

This past week my parents and I went to Kerrville for a couple days. We had a great time and I thought I’d share some of the fun places we went to.

We left Tuesday morning with the RV. We decided to stay at Kerrville-Schreiner Park (Kerrville-Schreiner Park | Kerrville TX – Official Website). It is a nice park, but muddy since it had rained. We did a few of the hiking trails that day. They were very muddy and didn’t seem to be kept up with super great but other than that they were pretty good. We did get to see some turkeys while we were driving around and a cool tree on one of the trails. We spent the rest of the time at camp.

The next day we went shopping. We went to a bunch of different Thrift Stores and other random stores. I found some good deals and got some books. (They will be included in October’s book haul.) We were gone for most of the day and relaxed at camp once we got back.

Thursday we went to Ingram for the day. We went and saw their version of Stonehenge, the art gallery, theater and the gift shop ( Welcome | Hill Country Arts Foundation (hcaf.com) ). I definitely want to go back and see a performance someday. They also had a pumpkin patch at Stonehenge. We stopped at a Thrift Store on the way back to Kerrville as well as the Riverside Nature Center (Riverside Nature Center) where we got to see lots of plants and a few insects. I feel like this would be a great place to go in spring when all the flowers are in bloom. We went to a few more shops before heading back to camp. We ended up leaving that afternoon instead of Friday since the weather was supposed to get bad.

We did end up dining out a few times on our trip. We tried Del Norte Restaurant (Del Norte Restaurant Menu (kerrvillemenus.com)) for lunch, which was so good and very filling and Rio Ranch Cafe (Rioranchcafe (therioranchcafe.com)) for breakfast, which was amazing and also very filling.

We had such a great trip and plan to go back someday. Have you ever been to Kerrville? What are some attractions that we didn’t get to? Comment down below. Until next time.
