Last night my parents and I went and saw the Christmas lights at the Crumbling Castle in Comfort, Texas. It was a truly amazing experience and I already want to go again! If you are in the South Texas area, I highly recommend it!
You can find a ton of information on their website: Crumbling Castle Lights | Christmas in Texas
There are 1.5 miles of lights that you drive through. It would roughly take about thirty minutes. When we went, there wasn’t many cars at all. We got to talk to both of the owners and they were so nice and friendly. This is a family run business and I’m so happy to have gotten to support them and all their hard work.
Tickets are $40. There is a discount code on their website that will save you money if you purchase your ticket online like I did. You can either print out the ticket or show it on your phone. What I really liked is that you could purchase it, and use it a week or so later. You don’t have to pick a specific date.
There are many scenes you will see driving through the forest. I took a ton of photos last night, but I’m only sharing a few of each on here. Pictures don’t do it justice. You’d really need to see how enchanting it is in person.

That was my trip to Crumbling Castle! I loved it so much and really want to start going every year. They do have plans to add a bit each year and I want to see it. Hope you enjoyed this! Make sure you go check out their website and purchase a ticket if this seems like something you would enjoy! Until next time.
