May Reads

Another month, another bunch of books taken off my TBR pile. I had some great books this month and I’m very excited to share what I read. Hope you enjoy and discover some new books to check out.

I started the month off with The Unquiet by J.D. Robb, Mary Blayney, Patricia Gaffney, Ruth Ryan Langan, and Mary Kay McComas. My mom and I swap books all the time and this was one from her. I love anthologies and this was a crazy but good one.

Next I read Hush, Hush and Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick. I read through these so fast. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the last two in the series, but I do now. As soon as I read these I placed an order through Bookoutlet (haul next week!) just so I could finish the series.

Navy Wife by Debbie MaComber followed. This was a cute book that my mom gave me to read. There were some emotional moments, but the love story is so sweet.

I read Undead and Unemployed by Mary Janice Davidson next. This was such a good and funny book. I loved every minute of it.

I followed with Straight From The Hip by Susan Mallery. I love her books and this one wasn’t any different. I really want to read the book that follows this one next.

Next was Men In Uniform: Who Do You Love by Maggie Shayne and Marilyn Pappano. It took me a while to get into both of these stories. They did end well though. I think I just wasn’t in the mood for an action packed book right then.

Next was Four Friends by Robyn Carr. I loved this book. It is set for an older audience, but I didn’t mind. I still got into this book even though there wasn’t much I could relate to. Robyn Carr is a great writer overall and I can’t wait to read more of her books.

Healing The Forest Ranger by Leigh Bale followed. This was another book from my mom. It is also a Love Inspired book. This was a sweet story filled with heartbreaking moments.

I finished the month with Shards & Ashes (Edited) by Melissa Marr and Kelley Armstrong. This anthology was so good, but also super dark. All the stories are so different and many of my favorite authors are in it.

Hope you all enjoyed this! Thank you for reading. Feel free to check out any of these books. Comment down below if you’ve read any of these or if there was a book you read this month that you loved. Subscribe for future monthly reads and books hauls. Until next time.
