Hello again! Christmas is getting even closer but I don’t have to tell ya’ll that. I’m sure you already know. I’m here to help. I’ve started a small series on my page with gift ideas.
The Elderly
- Time. There is no better gift than spending time with them. Listen to their stories and talk to them. They will truly leave you with something precious.
- Everyday essentials. Get them fruit, snacks, food, shampoo, or something like that. Make a gift basket with it all even. They like things they can use.
- Blankets. As you get older, your skin thins out. Blankets are a great way to keep warm. If you sew, you could make them one that is very special.
- No slip socks. Nothing is worse than them falling. Socks won’t be able to prevent everything, but at least they won’t slip as easily. Plus their feet will be kept warm.
- A shawl. Again a great way for them to keep warm.
Stocking stuffers for her
- Bath bombs. A bath bomb with make for a nice relaxing evening after all the fun from Christmas day.
- Face masks. Again, relaxation will be great.
- Jewelry. You don’t have to go expensive but this way they will have something to wear Christmas day.
- Pajamas. They can put them on that morning, or save them for later on. Either way they’ll be happy with comfortable lounge wear.
- Snacks. Candies or chips or whatever they like make for great stocking stuffers. Plus you can easily get them a variety.
Stocking stuffers for him
- Snacks. Same as for her. Its something simple but great to put in their stocking.
- Socks. Socks are great because they’re always using them and will continue to need them.
- A pocketknife or multi-tool. This is great for them, especially if they like camping, hunting, or fishing.
- A wallet. A new wallet is always a great idea. They can change out their old one and feel happy knowing their belonging won’t fall out.
- A watch. This is something they can wear Christmas day and still be able to use it in the future.
Hope this helped! Only thirteen days until Christmas if you can believe it. I have one more post coming up with gift ideas so stay tuned!
