DIY Spooky Halloween Wreath

With Halloween getting closer, I wanted to get some new decor without spending a lot of money. I don’t own a wreath, so I wanted to make one. I love crafting, although I haven’t been doing much of it lately. This is a fairly simple craft, but it looks like you put a lot of effort into it.

I started with gathering sticks from my yard. I wanted to get a bunch of different sizes and shapes for my wreath. Once I gathered a bunch, I spray painted them black. I spread out newspaper and laid all the sticks on it before spraying them. Once dried, I turned them over and did the other side.

After my sticks were all painted and dried, I began laying thicker sticks out for my base. I glued these together before adding all the rest of the spray painted sticks I had. I used hot glue, but I’d suggest something stronger for the sticks. Mine was very delicate unfortunately. I then made a spider out of pom poms and pipe cleaners and glued it on.

I felt it needed a bit more, so I added some florals, plastic spiders, and bones (I used real, but you could totally use fake too). I left all the hot glue strands for a spider web effect. Add whatever else you like too!

Finally, I hung it up with some wire in my window. You could put it wherever you like though.

Hope you all enjoyed this! I love crafting, so I’m glad I could make something spooky this month. I’ll definitely be doing more crafts in the future. Until next time.
