I am very close with my mom and dad, but since this post is about Mother’s Day we’ll concentrate on her. This time anyways.
I was going to make a list of things you could buy your mom that she’d probably love. I had already put quite a bit of thought behind the gift ideas and the types of moms there are out there. Then I realized this post was going up Friday. Mother’s Day is Sunday. So my plans changed. Instead we’re going to get personal. After all, these are the posts my mom loves the most. Hope you enjoy it too!
My mom and I don’t always get along, but I know she’s my biggest supporter. She’s the one that faithfully reads my blog posts as well as my books when I work on them. She’s the one who always pushes me to do my best and honestly believes I can do anything I set my heart on. She’s the one who I can go to to talk about pretty much anything with. She’s the one who comforts me when I feel like everything is going wrong. She’s the one that gets angry when people aren’t the nicest to me. She’s my supporter. She’s my defender. She’s my best friend.
Now, am I writing this post because I know my mom will cry reading it? Yes, yes I am. This is the girl she raised after all 🙂 but in all honesty, I just wanted to talk about how wonderful she is. There are times she loses her patience with me and I drive her absolutely nuts, but she’s my mom and that will never change.
So my gift idea for you all this year? Tell your mom how you feel before it’s too late.
Thank you all so much for reading. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mother’s out there. Until next time.
