15 Things To Do In Quarantine

Since being in quarantine, we all have a lot of extra time. By now, some of us are so bored and in desperate need of some ideas on what to do. Whether you in quarantine alone, with your family, your partner, or with your kids, there’s a bit of everything on this list. I’ll leave links for some products that might help with some of the ideas.

  1. Read. I know a lot of people don’t like to read and that’s okay. I’m not saying there are only books. Read a newspaper, magazine, webtoon, or even some blogs. For book ideas, I have lots of posts about books I recommend so check them out!
  2. Color. This is great for anybody! Coloring is relaxing and will help with your peace of mind. This is something you can do alone, or with family members. Kids will love getting to color with the adults as well. Coloring Books
  3. Spa day. Spa days are a great way to get rid of stress and relax. Do a face mask, take a bubble bath, and/or even just lay back and listen to spa music. Just light a candle and enjoy!
  4. Workout. Working out does help with not just your physical, but your mental too. You don’t have to do anything strenuous. You could even go for a walk. Anything to get your body moving. I have a post about YouTube workouts, if you need some ideas.
  5. Date night. Even though we’re all stuck inside, doesn’t mean we can’t “go out”. A girl I know did this. She created her own fancy restaurant, bar, and even a hotel to spend time with her boyfriend. Get creative!
  6. Play games. Video games, board games, card games, or even computer games are a fun way to pass the time. Whether in a group or alone there are games for everyone. Plus some video games let you play with your friends. Video games for all platforms
  7. Watch something. There are so many platforms out there that there’s choices for everyone. From YouTube to TikTok to Netflix or Hulu the range of videos is huge. Find something or someone you like watching and binge-watch all the videos.
  8. Do crafts. This is something fun for the kids, but it does allow adults to be creative too. Use things you have lying around the house and go wild.
  9. Build a pillow fort. Adults or kids will enjoy this. There’s just something about it that is just so carefree and fun.
  10. Plant some flowers. Many places are delivering, so you should be able to order everything you need for this. Pick out flowers you love, get soil, some pots, and you’re all set! Just make sure you water and let them have the amount of sun they need.
  11. Spend some time with your pets. This is if you have them, of course. Petting animals slows down your heart rate and reduces your blood pressure. The animals are happy and you’re happy. Its a win-win situation.
  12. Clean your house. Do a full cleaning and even go through your clothes. Once things are up and going again, you could make a donation or even trying selling the things you don’t need. You get a spotless house and less clutter.
  13. Learn a new skill. There’s always something we’ve wanted to learn but have never had time for. The time is now. Get what you need for it and find a video that will help you learn it.
  14. Bake something yummy. Baking is a fun way to get everyone involved. Plus you get to eat it in the end. Cookbooks For Everyone
  15. Dance. Put on some of your favorite music on and let loose.

Hope these helped! Until next time.
