Yard Sale Weekend

I haven’t written many life posts recently, so I thought I would finally write one. Most of the times my weekends are really chill, but this past weekend we had a yard sale.

We started setting up Thursday and spent pretty much all day setting tables up and dumping boxes of stuff to sell. It took most of the day and would have taken so much longer if we hadn’t priced everything earlier that week. I ended up going home close to four so I could shower before going to San Antonio with my cousin.

Friday was so cold. It was drizzly that morning and it was windy the whole day. We froze while sitting out there all day. We had some people show up but it was pretty slow most of the day.

Saturday, the weather was so much better. It started out pretty chilly and we didn’t have any customers for the first hour or so but it warmed up quickly. We had a lot of people come and ended up selling a good chunk of our stuff. We got to meet a few of the new neighbors, which was great. I did have an old couple give me cookies that the guy made which really made my day.

We ended up boxing up the stuff that didn’t sell Saturday evening and Sunday morning. I had forgotten how much work went into having a yard sale and am honestly exhausted.

Thank you so much for reading! I know this is quite a bit different from my normal content but I hope you enjoyed. Until next time.
