2022 Reading Journal Set-Up +January Spreads

This is my first year doing a bullet journal for my reading. I’ve watched a ton of videos but finally decided to take the plunge. I’m not the best at this. I’m still learning, so not everything is going to be perfect, but I wanted to share it anyways.

2022 Set-Up: Studio Ghibli theme

These are the first two spreads you see in my journal. I wanted to keep it fun and make it something that would make me happy when I opened it.

Next is my two goals page. I wanted to be able to see everything I wanted to accomplish pretty early on, plus it is easier for me to check them off this way too.

Next up I did some of the series I really want to get to this year then put a books hauled page. I ended up doing another one of these further on. I didn’t think I would have enough room with just this one page.

Next, I did a books read page with a giant bookshelf where you just write the title name. Then I have the 25 books I want to read in 2022. These are a priority for me. I’ll talk more about these in an upcoming blog post!

Next was the Buzzword Reading challenge with the prompt for each month. Then I put my second books hauled page.

January Spreads: Cactus/Floral theme

I had no idea what to do for January. I don’t love this theme, but it isn’t the worst. I know what I like a little better now, so I can carry it out in the future.

I then just did my TBR page and Days Read page. I love how cute my TBR is, but the days read spread definitely needs work. As you can tell I did use these spreads a bit before I took the picture. 🙂

Finally I did my books read page (and thoughts) with stats at the bottom. I did already add a book and my thoughts to the page…so spoiler ^_^

Those are all my pages! I’m going to start doing these monthly, I just wanted to combine these two. Have you ever had a bullet journal? I’d love any pointers if you have. Thank you so much for checking out this post! Until next time.
