Book Recommendations

For those of you who know me, you know that I love to read. It is one of my most favorite things to do in life. I read a large array of different genres, so when somebody gives me a recommendation I’m all over it. Some of the best books I’ve ever read were recommendations. I thought I’d give some of my own for anyone who loves to read.

  1. Accidentally Catty by Dakota Cassidy – this was such a cute and funny book. Plus it has cats!
  2. Dark Visions by L.J. Smith- I’ve read this book so many times and I’m still not bored by it!
  3. The Forbidden Game by L.J. Smith- another good book by this writer. It’s full of suspense and keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time.
  4. Garden Spell by Sarah Addison Allen- a sweet love story with cute witches.
  5. Must Love Dragons by Stephanie Rowe- I love dragons and this book is just so sassy and fun!
  6. The Lake of Dead Languages by Carol Goodman- this book was filled with murder and mystery. Also has a good love story. I don’t think any book has ever shocked me quite as much as this one did.
  7. The Boy Who Sneaks In My Bedroom Window by Kirsty Moseley- this is an amazing “bad boy” and “good girl” story. I love this book!
  8. Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire- this is probably one of my most favorite books. The “bad boy” of the book is guaranteed to make you swoon.
  9. The Start of Me and You by Emery Lord- with cute and sad moments, this book will tug at the heartstrings. Plus you’ll be rooting for the cute, nerd.
  10. Elphame’s Choice and Brighid’s Quest by P.C. Cast- a two part short series set in ancient times. This does follow a longer series, but you can just read these two and be perfectly fine. Both books will leave you rooting for love, and maybe even make you tear up a few times.
  11. Lament and Ballad by Maggie Stiefvater- an interesting take on faeries that was just amazing in two books.
  12. Slammed and Point of Retreat by Colleen Hoover- There are three in this series, but these two were the best. The third book is a different point of view of the first one. I have yet to read it, but I do want to. Very good love story filled with hard elements.

Hope this gives you all some recommendations. If you are more into long series, that post will be up Tuesday. I will make more of these. I love sharing books I read. I do have another Blog where I review books if anyone is interested. I’ll leave the link below for it. Thank you all for reading! Until next time.
