10 Ways To Get Free or Discounted Books

I love reading, but I try not to break the bank when I buy books. I get a lot of free and heavily discounted books through different ways so I thought I’d share how I get them. If I miss a place, please comment below and let me know!

  1. Thrift Stores- Thrift stores are a great place to find discounted books. The thrift store in my town has books for 50 cents and up to $1.
  2. ThriftBooks.com- I love thriftbooks so much. Most of the books are very discounted, and they give you points when you shop where you can get a free book when you get enough points. 5. BookOutlet- BookOutlet is a great place to find books that are more for a younger audience. They have tons of children’s books, young adult, and others. Their clearance section is great and they give you points for free books as well. 7. Ebay- Ebay has discounted prices for books, and while I don’t think I’ve ever shopped off of there, I know tons of people that have. Electronics, Cars, Fashion, Collectibles & More | eBay
  8. Authors- I follow quite a few author’s newsletters that sometimes have free books within them. Its a great way to get to try a new to you author’s book.
  9. Craigslist- This is another place I haven’t bought books, but I have shopped for them.
  10. Facebook Marketplace- I have looked at books on here quite a few times, although I haven’t bought any yet.
